About Pet First Community

Pet First Community is an independent dog-wellness resource, run by dog owners, for dog owners.

What we do

We write short, practical guides on the everyday parts of dog care: wellness routines, food, senior comfort, teeth, enrichment, training, insurance and gear. Each guide ends with the products and partners we feature for that topic.

How we choose what to feature

PetClub 247 is our featured brand, and we’re open about why: we are PetClub brand advocates and earn from sales through our store. We feature PetClub first wherever it fits. For needs PetClub doesn’t cover, such as dental care, toys, training, insurance and gear, we feature other companies.

Our rules

• We disclose how we earn, near the top of every page that links to products.
• We never present any product as a way to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
• No star ratings, made-up reviews, or health-outcome testimonials.
• We separate what research shows from what marketing says, and we say when evidence is limited.
• Anything medical is a conversation for your vet, not for a website.

The Puppy Journey

We’re documenting a puppy’s first months as a step-by-step series. See the episode plan.
